Admission Process

We accept applications for admission at all times during the school year, provided that we have the space in the year group and as per the admissions policy. 


1. Complete the student enquiry form. You can either complete this online or during a walk-in visit to our school 

2. Book yourself a school tour and see our campus and facilities.


3. The school will contact you if a vacancy is available and schedule the next steps. 

4. We give priority to siblings who are students of the school. 


5. We offer a waiting system in case of no immediate vacancy and will contact you as soon as a vacancy arises. 


Placement processes in line with the regulatory requirements:

Children at the foundation stage must be fully toilet-trained and they must be the correct age as stipulated by regulatory guidelines.  

 

The school’s evaluation of the child’s learning needs and the fulfilment of the registration requirements will both be areas of consideration.  Children will not be assessed for specific academic abilities; however, they may meet with our teaching staff in small groups through interactive sessions at school to ascertain the following: 

• Children’s ability to operate independent of their parents 

• Converse with adults 

• Follow simple instructions 


1. Admission for Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) and the appropriate year-level placement is based on the age requirement as stipulated by the regulatory guidelines and the fulfilment of the registration requirements.

2. We may conduct placement assessments purely for baseline purposes and to plan the level of support required. A meeting with a member of the primary school team may be planned, where needed.

3. For applicants based locally, these assessments may be undertaken at the school premises. For applicants currently outside the UAE abroad assessments can be arranged online under the supervision of a qualified teacher, where applicable.

1. Admission for Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6) and the appropriate year level placement is based on age requirement as stipulated by regulatory guidelines and the fulfilment of the registration requirements.

2. We may conduct placement assessments purely for baseline purposes and to plan the level of support required. A meeting with a member of the primary school team may be planned, where needed.

3. For applicants based locally, assessments may be undertaken at the school premises. For applicants currently outside the UAE, assessments can be arranged online under the supervision of a qualified teacher, where applicable.

1. Admission for Key Stages 3 &4 ( Years 7 to 11) and the appropriate year level placement is based on the age requirement as stipulated by regulatory guidelines, and the fulfilment of the registration requirements.

2. We may conduct placement assessments purely for baseline purposes and to plan the level of support required. A meeting with a member of the secondary school team may be planned, where needed.

3. For entry into Years 10 and 11 only, students may be required to complete an interview with a senior staff member and/or provide an up-to-date school report to ascertain the subject requirement and if they have met the required guided learning hours for the IGCSE.

4. For applicants based locally, these assessments may be undertaken at the school premises. For applicants currently outside the UAE, assessments can be arranged online under the supervision of a qualified teacher, where applicable.

The following documentation is mandatory at the time of application: 

  • A copy of the student’s passport and residence visa (where applicable) with the Unified   Number (UID)
  • A scanned copy of the student’s birth certificate
  • Four recent passport-sized photos
  • A copy of the Family Book for UAE nationals only
  • A copy of the student’s Emirates ID
  • A copy of the student’s Vaccination Card
  • Student Medical File from previous school (including updated immunisation records)
  • School report/transcript from previous two academic years
  • Specialist reports for any students of determination
  • Copy Transfer Certificate from previous school (attested by KHDA/Ministry of Education for students coming from another Emirate)
  • School report/transcript from last attended school if the school was outside the UAE, should also be attested by:
    1. - Ministry of Education
    2. - Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in the country from which the student is relocating)
    3. - UAE Embassy (in the country from which the student is relocating)
    4. - Consulate of the relevant country (in Dubai)
    5. - Please note that attestation is not required for UK, US, Canadian, Australian or European school transfers
  • A copy of Father’s/Guardian’s valid passport and residence visa (where applicable)
  • A copy of Father’s/Guardian’s Emirates ID
  • A copy of Mother’s/Guardian’s valid passport and residence visa (where applicable)
  • A copy of Mother’s/Guardian’s Emirates ID

Note: The KHDA Parent-School contract (PSC) for each student must be signed by the parents/guardians before the student joins the school. 

Assessments will be designed with special processes for students with special needs as identified below:


1. EAL students at all levels

2. Students of Determination

3. The Gifted and Talented


We request parents to provide the school with copies of all medical, psychological, or educational assessments or reports. This will enable us to provide the best services for your child.


We follow KHDA guidance and procedures for scenarios where, very rarely, it may not be in the best interests of the child to be placed in our school.


This information will be shared with the KHDA, following expected procedures.
